GM Teases Once Again with More Pics of Production Chevy Volt
Following on from the recent video from ABC News in which GM’s exterior design executive director Michael Simcoe pulls the cover off one of the Chevy Volt clay models, we can now bring you a couple of new sexy press shots teasing even more styling details.
The first shot shows the front left area of the production version (the same area uncovered on the clay model), nothing sticks out that we haven't seen already apart from some pretty hot looking lights. The second shot shows the centrally mounted logos on the rear, styling details can be seen here too, but they are a little blurry. Additionally General Motors has also released a bunch of images from the design studio showing the designers and engineers working on the clay model and engine respectively.
Production of the Volt is expected to start in 2010 although there are those who don't believe General Motors are going to be able to meet this deadline. Despite the length of time consumers still have to wait before it hits the dealers, there are no shortage of punters wanting to get hold of the model. An unofficial website (gm-volt.com) made by a Volt enthusiast has revealed a waiting list of prospective buyers on his site has topped 33,000.

I've already written these blokes about why they should expose the design of the car now. I doubt it will be read and possibly even be deleted.
Again, feel free to argue my points about the car, but bear in mind that these are my opinions. No facts can be made since the car specs are not even released yet.
You only need 5 people, a heap of clay and a shed in Texas (location may vary, depending on where Jimbo and Billy-Bob live)to make a concept car, and all I'm seeing is Jimbo and Billy-Bob sculpting the clay...

Perhaps GM is having second thoughts...?

Here's to hoping Chevy does not make a ruthlessly ugly new car (although I feel it will be).
Cheers!
